Zhen Liu received her PhD degree in Cartography and Geographical Information System from the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is now the Executive Director of the secretariat of the International Society for Digital Earth and the Director of the Editorial Office of the International Journal of Digital Earth.
