According to the newly released 2022 Scopus CiteScore, the new CiteScore for International Journal of Digital Earth (IJDE) is 8.2, hitting record high with a remarkable increase from 6.7 of the year 2021. It is now ranked 16/192 in Earth and Planetary Sciences (Q1), 75/404 in Software (Q1), and 118/792 in Computer Science Applications (Q1).
The journal of Big Earth Data (BEDJ) also did a marvellous job with a new CiteScore of 8.0, rising significantly from 6.8 in 2021. It is now ranked 8/72 in Computers in Earth Sciences (Q1) and 126/792 in Computer Science Applications (Q1).
The International Journal of Digital Earth is the first peer-reviewed international journal focusing on the theories, technologies, applications and societal implications of Digital Earth. It was launched by the International Society for Digital Earth and jointly published by Taylor & Francis Group under the sponsorship of the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It was accepted for coverage in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) in 2009, 18 months since its publication, and has been indexed by 15 large databases worldwide by now with an impact factor of 4.606 in 2022.

The Big Earth Data is an interdisciplinary, open access and peer-reviewed academic journal, also the world's first big data journal in the Earth sciences. It was launched in 2017 by the International Society for Digital Earth jointly with the Aerospace Information Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences – Chinese Academy of Sciences Strategic Priority Research Program "Big Earth Data Science Engineering" and the Taylor & Francis Group. It is indexed in ESCI, Scopus, EI, Inspec, CSCD and other international databases.
