The International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) establishes the “ISDE International Lectures”, which is a series of online events and features invited lectures by well-known international experts in the field of Digital Earth. The events will invite guests to give lectures every two months. The purpose of the events is to bring international scholars in the relevant research fields of Digital Earth together to exchange academic perspectives, share research results, and disseminate the most cutting-edge and authoritative concept of Digital Earth.

So far, six ISDE International Lectures have been held, accumulatively attracting nearly 26,000 experts, scholars, and business people from around the world since its launch. It covers various topics such as "Digital Earth: Past, Present and Future Perspectives", "The Digital Earth(s) of Citizens", "Human Mobility Analytics in the Big Data Era", "Local Earth Observation Data Cubes for the Digital Earth Vision", "Optical Quantum Vector Observations of the Digital Earth", and "Digital Coast for Climate Resilience with Drones". The 7th ISDE International Lectures on "Cognition, Visualization, and Extended Reality" will be held on November 15, 2023. Please find more information at: http://www.digitalearth-isde.org/list-34-1.html.

Any expert who is interested in giving a talk about Digital Earth at this Lecture is warmly welcomed. Each lecture will be 1.5 hours for 3 speakers, with 20 minutes for each speaker and about 30 minutes for questions. To make the talks close to the lecture theme, the speaker who applies to give a talk is encouraged to invite the other two experts who have similar research interests with him/her together surrounding the lecture theme.

If you are interested to give lectures, please fill the Application Form, and return to the ISDE Secretariat (isde@radi.ac.cn).
